Here you will find some examples of my work, which I was able to create in the course of my life. It gives me pleasure to inspire other people to create artistically. In my ministry as a Catholic priest, I often had the opportunity to promote courage for creativity in the context of various parish initiatives. The possibilities were very diverse. Be it in structural matters, in dealing with biblical themes or be it the liturgical challenge of the church year, the content of which can be developed particularly well in artistic design. Of course, doing things together also promotes the cohesion of groups in a parish, but it also offered the chance to establish casual contact for socially disadvantaged and sometimes delinquent young people.
Through my last assignment as a hospital chaplain, I began painting and drawing more intensively again. Through the contact with the borderline situations of human life, especially through the experiences with the Covid patients and their relatives, I found in art a good balance to cope with and overcome the experiences.
It is a great gift for me that now, in the retreat of my retirement, my interests do not leave a void, but open a new path.
